IKO SPHERICAL BUSHINGS are available in the various types shown in the following table.

These bushing have an outer ring split into halves, Asnap ring is fixed to the groove around the outer periphery of the outer ring and this holds the inner and outer rings. Grease lubricating is simple due to the oil holes and oil grooves in the inner and outer rings.Steel-on-steel spherical bushings SB...A
These bushing have the outer ring split at one position. The inner and outer rings will not separate, so handling before mounting and mounting to the housing are simple. The boundary dimensions are the same as those for the SB series and they are interchangeable, but the radial clearance is manufactured smaller.Steel-on-steel spherical bushings GE...E, ES
The dimension series of these bushing conforms ti ISO standards and they can be used internationally. The outer ring is axially split at one position and in the case of GE...E there are no oil holes and oil grooves, while GE...ES have oil holes and grooves. They are divided according to bushin size.Steel-on-steel spherical bushings GE...G, ES
Combared to GE...E and ES series, these bushings have a htgh sectionalheight and a large load rating and permissible angle of tilt. The dimension series conformes to ISO standards and they can be used internationally. They outer ring is axially split at one positions and in the case of GE...G there are no oil grooves, while GE...GS have oil holes and grooves. They are divided according to bushing size.Steel-on-steel spherical bushings SBB
These are inch series bushings. The outer ring is axiallysplit at one position and there are oil holes and oil grooves in the inner and outer rings.Steel-on-steel spherical bushings with seals
These bushingshave double lip polyurethane seals which are effective in preventing grease leaks and dust penetration. They are indicated by '2RS' placed after the bushing number. Under bad running conditions where mud., sand and other foreign particles are present, the seals alone can not protect the bushing effectively so it is necessary to periodically increase the frequency of re-greasing to cope with this problem These bushing can be used within a temperature rang of -30°C TO +80°CMaintenance-free spherical bushings GE...EC
These bushings have the same boundary dimensions as steel-on-steel spherical bushings GE...E, ES series and can be used internationally. The sliding surface has a special PTEF sheet whichhas been strengthened by copper alloy mesh, so deformation by creepin regardto compressive load can be mimimized. These bushing have excellent wear resistance properties and are maintenance-free type.Maintenance-free spherical bushings with seals
These bushings have synthetic resin seals which protect them from dust, and are indicated by '2RS' placed after the bushing number. They can be used within a temperature range of -30°C to +80°C. Bushings can be also manufactured with very effectiveprotection properties for use in corrosive atmospheres with environments wher they may come in contact with water. Please contact IKO for further information.Accuracy standard
The dinensional tolerances for IKO SPHERICAL BUSHINGS-Matric series are manufactured to comform to JIS 0 Standard. ISO 1132 and DIN 620 The dimensional tolerances for IKO SPHERICAL BUSHINGS-Inch series are shown in Table 2.
The bore dimensions are applied after surface treatment and a few variations may occure in surface treatment This variation has no influence in overall performance. All other dimensions are applied prior to surface treament, and the tolerance of an outer ring is app;ied before sp;itting the outer ring.

The radial clearance values for IKO SPHERICAL BUSHINGS are the values before splitting the outer ring, and are shown. Inch series radial clearancees are shown in the dimension table. Spherical bushings with other clearancees can also be manufactured. Please contact IKO for further information.Fit
