These bushing have bushes made of a special pliable copper alloy inserted between the outer ring and inner ring which is treated with chromium plating on the spherical surface after hardening and precision finishing. They are rigid bushings with wear resistance properties, and are directly mounted to the shaft and housing They have oil holes and oil grooves on the outer ring. Where there are heavy radil and thrust loads, IKO SPHERICAL BUSHINGS, whose sliding surface on the inner and outer ring have been MoS2-treated,are recommended.Pilloball rod-ends-insert type with female thrust
These rod-ends have bushes made of a special pliable copper alloy inserted between the body with female thread which is treated with zinc chromate plating and the inner ring which is treated with chromium plating on the spherical surface after hardening and precision finishing. They are rigid rod-ends with wear resistance and anti-corrosion properties and are use in in connection with the shaft. There is a grease nipple on the body.
Pilloball rod-ends-insert type with male thrust
These rod-ends have a male thread. Their structure and performance are the same as those with a female thread. However, in case of POS 5 and 6, they have no grease nipple and are directly lubricated through the oil hole in the body
Pilloball rod-ends-die-cast type with female thrust
The hardened end then mirror-finished spherical inner ring is held by the special zinc die-cast alloy body, and there is almost complete contact across the sliding surface. These rod-ends are very economical and have wear resistance propertiesand There is a grease nipple on the body.Accuracy standard
The accuracies for IKO PILLOBALLS are shown in table 2.1and 2.2
The radial clearance for the insert type is 0.035 mm (Maximum).
