Caged needle roller bearings

This bearing consist of a ribbed outer ring, a cage constructed ti IKO's unque light-weight and rigid standards, and needle rollers. When rotating,the cage guides the needle rollers accurately and gives the best load distribution.(1)Caged needle roller bearings(without inner ring)
In the metric series, there are ISO-specified NA 49 and NA 69 series, the NA 48 and TAFI series which corresponds to the international dimension series, as well as the heavy duty TRI series wich is used throughout Japan. The TAFI series is a light duty bearings. with a sectional hieght of the similar thinness as shell type needle roller bearings. The inch series BRI is a bearing which is equivalent to the American ANSI- standard specification, and there are oil grooves on the inner and outer rings.
The dimensional tolerance of the bearing's inscribed circle diameter dr is, with the exception of BR series, manufactured to F6 tolerance. by combining a hardened and ground fhaft with the bearing, any desired radial clearance can be chosen. Also, the change of dimensional accuracy produced by combining it with the inner ring does not occur. Therefore, rotational accuacy is high and, at the same time, the shaft diameter is increased by the same amount as the thickness of the inner ring, which increases its rigidity.(2)Caged needle roller bearings(with inner ring)
This bearing with inner ring is used when the shaft can not be hardened and ground. As the inner with inner ring and outer ring with cage and roller assembly can bothbe separated and furthermore, there are small chamfers at both ends of the raceway surface of the inner ring, mounting and assembling are easy. The width of the inner ring of TRI and BRI is a little wider than that of the outer rings.Guide roller bearings
Sometimes, due to thermal expansion during operation or misalignment on mounting, the inner or outer ring moves in the axail direction and the entire lenght of the roller does not make contact. Take note of the value of the maximum per missible axial displacement "S" in the dimension table.
This is a full complement roller bearing. The roller are accurately guided by the guide rail at the center of the outer ring raceway surface and the guiding grooves of the grooved rollers. So roller skewing, which is considered a weak point of full complement bearings, is minimized and rotating accuracy is very highSealed needle roller bearings
Consequently, it is possible to achieve the proper rotation and load distribution, and they are ideal for heavy loads, shock loads, and oscillating movement
The width of this bearing's inner ring is a little wider than its outer ring.
This sealed bearings are available in caged bearing (NA 49, NA 69, series)and full complement roller bearing (GBRI series), and are provided with seals on one or two sides. The special synthetic rubber seal has excellent fealing against dust and grease leakageAccuracy standard
The two-sealed type is packed with lubricating grease,while the one-sleade type is not, but will be supplied packed with grease upon request. Agood lithium soap base grease is usually used for lubrication and can be used in the -20 to + 120°C temperature range. When using two or more IKO ROLLER BEARINGS together on the same shaft, it is necessary to distribute the load evenly. Matched bearings can be supplied if specified.
IKO NEEDLE ROLLER BEARINGS, with the exeception of BR and BRI series inch dimensiins, are manufactured to JIS standards. The dimensional tolerance of the inscribed circle diameter dr of bearings without an inner rins is F6 tolerance. The accuracy of BR and BRI series is equivalent to ANSI standards. This accuracy is shown in Table 2. The dimensional tolerance of the inscribed circle diameter dr is shown in Table 3.
