The roller are guided accurately by the rigid cage, so these bearings are suitable for use at relatively high rotational speeds and rotations in clockwise and counter- clockwise direction under complex fluctuating loads. Handling is easy as the split outer ring is secured with a bolt so as to prevent it becoming detached re- spectively during transportation and mounting. These bearings are usually grease-lubricated and re-Iubrication is carried out throughthe space between the inner and outer rings, but an oil hole and oil groove can be made if desired.

Fullcomplement cross roller bearings

These bearings are sutitable for use at low rotational speed and in place where there is heavy fluctuating load. They are very economical.As the caged type, the outer rings is secured with a bolt.

Accuracy standard

The tolerances of the inside and diameters of IKO CROSS ROLLER BEARING conform to JIS standard as shown and the tolerance of the width are manufactured as shown in Table 2.

Clearances
The radial clearances for IKO CROSS ROLLER BEARINGS are as shown in Table 3. Special radial clearances can be manufactured to order.

Fit
IKO CROSS ROLLER BEARINGS often take complex loads so interference fit is usually preferred for the inner and outer rings.

Mounting

When the bearing mounting part is not rigid enough, etress concentration will occur at the contact area between the rolles and the raceway surface and bearing performance will be recuced remarkably. Therefore it is necessary the strenghth, etc. In the case of mounting for large diameter bearings, heat expansion method for the housing and cold sheink method for the shaft, are recommended.
